How clients agree to texts
Last updated: November 2026
Businesses such as salons, spas, clinics and home-service companies use Aradiq to text their own clients about appointments. Each business texts from its own phone number. Clients agree to these texts in one of two ways.
1. Booking online
Clients book on the business's own booking page (book.aradiq.com/<business>). The phone field is followed by this disclosure, shown before the client confirms the booking:
Your details
Haircut · Tue, Nov 10 · 2:00 PM · Glow Studio
By entering your number, you agree to get appointment texts from Glow Studio. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.
Example of the booking form ("Glow Studio" is replaced by the business's name). Promotional texts need a separate, unticked checkbox and are never part of this consent.
2. Booking in person or by phone
When a client books at the business (at the front desk or by phone), the business asks for their mobile number to send appointment texts, and the client agrees before it's saved. The same terms apply.
3. What clients get
- Appointment confirmations and reminders (for example: "Reminder: Haircut at Glow Studio, Tue, Nov 10, 2:00 PM. Reply Y to confirm or C to cancel. - Glow Studio. Reply STOP to opt out.")
- Replies from the business to their questions.
Message frequency varies with their bookings. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, HELP for help. Mobile numbers are never sold or shared for marketing.
